Who we are

Marie-Claire

My plant obsession started at a very young age. My family had what some would call a hobby farm in the outskirts of town in SE Minnesota. As a toddler I could be found counting the rings of trees cut for firewood and pocketing fallen leaves.

Plants are incredibly sentimental to me because I associate each with a time, person or a feeling. My personal collection is an autobiography of sorts. But, I also love how plants speak to evolution. To be epiphytic, or carnivorous or to grow a caudex is an adaptation. That is magical. Plants are magical.
